While parking for the Carter Moriah Trailhead, please note that you are in a residential neighborhood and your considerate and kind parking practices are greatly appreciated! This trailhead gives you access to Mount Surprise and Mount Moriah and opens to great views of the Presidential Range. This is a popular, well-traveled hiking area, so if you bring your 4-legged friend, please keep them leashed and remind them to be on their best behavior.
