Chapel Rock is a beautiful viewpoint just off the Pine Mountain Trail overlooking the Presidential Range. Chapel Rock is on private property owned by The Horton Center, which is a seasonal camp owned and operated by the NH Conference of the United Church of Christ. They kindly welcome hikers to walk the trail and visit Chapel Rock during the off season, so please be mindful of your presence while on the trails. Additionally, please steer clear of the campus buildings while camp is in session. During the off-season, hikers are welcome to scramble up Chapel Rock and enjoy the stunning views (and the large cross at the viewpoint) unless there is a sign across the bottom of the stairs blocking the way to Chapel Rock.
