Emerald Pool
Emerald Pool is a treasured natural swimming hole in the White Mountain National Forest. Enjoyed in the summer by children and adults alike, Emerald Pool is fed by the Peabody River and offers stunning rock features and calm areas to take a dip and cool off in the summertime. Arrive prepared to carry in / carry out as there are no facilities or services available at this site.

Emerald Pool is located off of Route 16 in between Great Glen Trails and Wildcat Mountain. Parking is available in a pull off on the side of Route 16, about 8.5 miles / 11 minutes from the Gorham Town Common (intersection of Route 16 & 2).
