Pine Mountain Trail (via Pinkham B/Dolly Copp)

This moderate 3.4 mile out-and-back trail can be accessed from Pinkham B Road (via Route 2) / Dolly Copp Road (via Route 16) (*NOTE - road not maintained in winter but still accessible on foot / snowshoe / ski*). The Pine Mountain hike is on the 52 With a View List and offers has great views of the Presidential Range. This is a popular hike, and it's important to keep in mind that much of the hike is on private property. The Horton Center (owned and operated by the NH Conference of the United Church of Christ) kindly welcomes hikers to walk the trail, but requests they steer clear of the campus while camp is in session. In the off-season, hikers are welcome to scramble up Chapel Rock and enjoy the stunning views (and the large cross at the top) unless the sign is up across bottom of the stairs at the beginning of the Chapel Rock trail.
