Rattle River Trailhead

This trailhead has a gravel parking lot that can hold around 15 cars and is occasionally plowed for winter access. The Rattle River shelter can be accessed from this trailhead as well, along with the Carter-Moriah Range. The Appalachian Trail crosses over in this location, so you’ll likely see AT thru-hikers looking for rides into Gorham to resupply their food and gear. Leashed dogs are welcome.
