Square Ledge in Pinkham Notch

Located directly across from the AMC Pinkham Notch Visitor Center, the Square Ledge Trail offers a perfect 1.1-mile out-and-back hike, ideal for families or those looking for a quick adventure with rewarding views. The Visitor Center provides parking, helpful trail information, and bathrooms, making it a convenient starting point. Simply cross Route 16 to access the trailhead. Despite its moderate difficulty, this trail is manageable for most hikers, and the lookout point delivers stunning vistas of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. It’s a great choice for those wanting a memorable experience in a shorter timeframe.  Dogs are welcome on leash.
