Stony Brook Trailhead
Located at the junction of Stony Brook Rd. and Rt. 16, the Stony Brook Trail climbs up to the south ledges of Mount Moriah and passes by Imp Shelter (lean-to camping). As a moderate-to-challenging route that offers picturesque waterfalls, chilly swimmy pools, and stunning views along the way, this hike is quite popular in the warmer months but sees much less foot traffic in the wintertime (bring your micro-spikes!). At the parking area you can find an informational kiosk showing a detailed map of the area. Leashed dogs are welcome.
