Third Hole is an amazing natural swimming hole on the Peabody River located just minutes from downtown Gorham. The swimming area is accessed from a dirt path located across Route 16 from the parking area. There are both shallow and deeper areas to swim, depending on the time of year and weather. Enjoy beautiful stones and rock features along the water's edge. Arrive prepared to carry in / carry out as there are no facilities or services available at this site. Please do your part to keep Third Hole clean and pristine. Additionally, there are no campfires or camping allowed at Third Hole.
