Not far from the center of Gorham is a quick trek out to three beautiful waterfalls: Proteus Falls, Erebus Falls, and at the top, Evans Falls. Hikers should proceed with caution as the trail is quite narrow, edging mostly along a substantial vertical drop into the Townline Brook ravine. Take extra precautions if you have young children, or if hiking after a rainfall: The rocks and trail can be very slippery when wet!
