Jibber Johnson Lumberjack Festival – Early October
Every fall, competitors from New England, Canada and beyond test their sawing, chopping, and log-rolling skills at this family-friendly event. The day begins with a pancake breakfast hosted at the Gorham Fire department, then spectators and competitors head over to the Gorham Town Common for a day filled with food trucks, craft vendors, live music, and, of course, a skillet throwing tournament (as one does in the North Country …).

Food & Fun Festival – Mid June
As the summer season kicks off, Gorham hosts a fun-filled, family-friendly food truck festival on the Town Common (internal link … again …). Be sure to bring your appetite and a lawn chair so you can enjoy the live music, then stop by the beer tasting tent to whet your whistle. And don’t forget to bring your bean bag tossing skills for the annual cornhole tournament!

Gorham 4th of July Celebration – July 1st – 4th
During the 4th of July, the circus comes to town. Or, rather, the carnival.
Every year Gorham holds its largest and most elaborate annual celebration where the town pulls out all the stops. The multi-day bonanza includes multiple parades (a kids and main parade), live music, fireworks, all the fried foods you can imagine, and (you guessed it) a full-blown carnival with amusement rides, games, and family-friendly entertainment for every age.,

Seasonal Events
Gorham Summer Concert Series
Each summer from mid-June to early August, Gorham hosts an every-other-Tuesday concert series on the Town Common. Usually starting around 5:30 or 6pm, concertgoers can look forward to a range of musical styles, from bluegrass to folk to classic and modern rock. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and some snacks and join your fellow music-appreciators on the Town Common.

Gorham Farmers Market
Featuring local farms and vendors, the Gorham Farmers Market is the perfect place to pick up your weekly fresh produce (and other goodies, too!). From early June to early October, the farmers market runs every Thursday from 3pm – 6pm on the Gorham Town Common (need I even say it?).
P.s. Most weeks there’s live music from area locals, too!
